Texan Thieves Target Rent Drop Boxes

Imagine diligently placing your monthly rent in your landlord's drop box only to be told that you're late with your rent. That's exactly what has been happening to several renters at apartment complexes across San Antonio.

According to the city's NBC affiliate, the last two months have seen an increase in theives stealing rent checks and money orders from rent drop boxes, along with a 23% increase in the area's crime rate since the same time last year.
