Don't Try This at Home!
A tenant at a DeKalb County, Georgia apartment building gave her neighbors quite a fright following her attempt to tackle a roach problem with fumigators.
The local ABC affiliate reported that the tenant set off as many as 14 fumigators before leaving her apartment for work Tuesday morning. The fumigators' ingredients interacted with a pilot light, causing a loud explosion.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the explosion reportedly blew out windows and destroyed part of the building's brick facade. Four families had to be temporarily relocated.
