Dog Protects Tenant from Fake Repairman

A man made his way into a woman's apartment last Wednesday in Pompano Beach, Florida, under the guise of having to make repairs. Sporting a convincing uniform and carrying a clipboard, the man looked the part. Plus, the tenant was expecting a repairman because she had recently called her landlord about fixing a faulty thermostat, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

It turns out that the man was an impostor who reportedly intended to rape the tenant. Although the man may have been clever in the way he got into the tenant's apartment, his plans didn't account for the tenant's dog. Once the man began to attack the tenant, her Boston terrier gave him a bite that sent him fleeing.
