Know Your Rights in Case of Foreclosure

Friday September 18, 2009

Thanks to a federal law passed earlier this year, apartment tenants may stay in their home for 90 days or possibly much longer if their landlord can't pay the mortgage and their building goes into foreclosure. Your right to stay in your apartment after a foreclosure depends on whether you have a lease.
