How can you squeeze 20 different rooms into one studio apartment that's only 350 square feet?
Hong Kong designer Gary Chang came up with an answer: maximize each room at 350 square feet but experience only one room at a time.
After careful planning and construction of sliding doors and other moving parts, the result of Mr. Chang's efforts is a versatile studio apartment that can transform into as many as 20 different rooms, including a bedroom, living room, laundry room, home theater, and more, according to a report from CNN.

It is amazing what some creativity will do! Many people are looking to save money, especially in this economy and the idea of moving into smaller quarters (with a lot of rooms such as shown in this apartment) is very attractive. It affords a lifestyle that one would not normally equate with such a small space. I myself have considered downsizing – ridding myself of unnecessary space, reducing expenses and having more disposable income to get out and enjoy more of what the world has to offer. This design is food for thought!
