Apartments.com recently announced the winners of its second annual Roommate of the Year contest.
This year's grand prize, including a year's rent plus $10,000, goes to Da Best Roommate (a/k/a Andrew Prestler of Kokomo, Indiana). Da Best made his case for the appropriateness of his name to Apartments.com judges and the voting public alike through a creative rap parody video.
An undergraduate, Mr. Prestler shares his living space with two roommates, who heartily agree with the contest's results, according to an Apartments.com press release.
