Do you think that owning your own home is rightly called the "American Dream"?
According to a recent survey of U.S. adults by Rent.com, it's a myth: an impressive 87% of respondents claim they no longer consider owning a home to be the most essential aspect of their American Dream.
Inspired by these results, Rent.com has launched a contest to find out what people across the country consider to be their "New American Dream," and they're offering some attractive prizes for the top entries, including a grand prize of a year's free rent (up to $10,000).
