What if a landlord tries to discourage or even bar you from displaying certain religious items in your apartment? How about the opposite situation, in which you don't want to display religious objects in your apartment but you feel pressured to do so by your landlord or neighbors?

Simply put, landlords who try to dictate your religious views and how you choose to display them -- or not -- in your apartment are violating the Fair Housing Act.
