Have you got a roommate who's so good you think he or she deserves an award? Does your roommate think that way about you? If so, consider entering Apartments.com's fourth annual Roommate of the Year contest.
Entrants may submit a video up to two minutes long in one of four categories (The Loveable Compulsive, The Purr-fect Pet Owner, The Environmentalist, or The All Star Roomie) that makes the case for why they should be named America's Best Roommate in 2012.
The contest, which runs through May 21 at noon ET, offers a grand prize of $20,000 -- $10,000 cash plus a year's rent (of $10,000) -- plus four runner-up prizes of $500 each. See contest rules for complete information.
In addition to the main contest, Apartments.com has launched a new "Roommate Video Shorts" contest offering four weekly prizes of a $250 gift card. Entrants must submit videos no longer than 30 seconds displaying special roommate skills by May 9 at noon ET . See contest rules for complete information.
