
You no doubt remembered to turn your clocks back an hour earlier this month to end observance of Daylight Saving Time. But did you take a moment to change the batteries in your apartment's smoke and carbon monoxide detectors?
Fire chiefs across the United States recommend changing these batteries along with your clocks. Regular battery replacement helps ensure that your detectors will be able to warn you about a serious smoke or fire situation in your apartment.
