One essential question to answer before you begin an apartment search is how many bathrooms you need. For example, you might really want two bathrooms but be willing to rent an apartment with just one bathroom if rents for two-bathroom apartments are too high.
Many apartment hunters settle on a compromise of one-and-a-half bathrooms. This means that the first bathroom is a full-bathroom, while the extra half-bathroom provides a sink and toilet with no shower or bath.
Here are pointers so you can decide whether a rental that offers one bathroom or two (or one-and-a-half) is best for you.
