
In a recent survey, Apartments.com sought to learn the reasons behind renters' planned moves for 2013.
A plurality of respondents (31.5%) indicated they're moving in 2013 because of their economic situation, while 23.5% cited personal preferences, including a desire to live alone, in a larger apartment, or in a different neighborhood. The third most popular reason for moving is on account of a family situation, such as a change in marital status.
Regardless of your reason for moving, if you're planning a move this year, save yourself time and stress by taking a look at these common logistical questions you should ask the landlord, manager, or super of a building to help moving day go smoothly.
