If you love quality products, great deals and coupons, Bed, Bath & Beyond is the place to shop. From beautiful bedding sets and plush towels to small appliances and dishware you'll use for years to come, you'll find everything you need whether you're just upgrading a couple items or registering for your brand new home. Best of all, you can always find a 20% off coupon to get a good deal.

Chances are, you have a couple of Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons buried in drawers around your home. Perhaps they've been there for a couple of months or even years, making you wonder if they're still usable. The rumor is that their coupons never expire, but is it true? Keep reading to find out whether they ever expire, what the coupon policy is and how to organize these (and other!) coupons neatly.

Do the Coupons Expire?

Well known for their big blue coupons, Bed Bath & Beyond reliably accepts expired coupons. Every coupon has an expiration date printed on it, and while the official coupon policy asks shoppers to use the coupons before the expiration date, most customers have their out-of-date coupons accepted. This policy gives the company the right to refuse coupons that are past their expiration date; however, it is worth bringing the coupon with you and giving it a try—you're likely to be successful.

Coupon Policies to Keep In Mind

If you have not yet signed up for Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons, you can do so on their website and receive coupons via email, text messages or mail. Once you begin to receive the coupons, there are a couple of policies to keep in mind.

  • You can only use one coupon per item, but you can use multiple coupons per purchase.
  • A coupon is only valid for one use.
  • A coupon cannot be copied.
  • A coupon is not valid for final sale products.
  • A coupon cannot be combined with a price match.
  • There are some products that are excluded from the coupons. These include gift cards, power tools and certain brands, all of which are listed on the company website.
  • There are online only coupons, in-store only coupons and coupons that can be used both online and in-store. Check your coupon to see what applies.

Tip

Your coupon stockpile may not get too much bigger. Insider reported in 2020 that Bed Bath & Beyond is decreasing the volume of coupons they send out and pivoting to emphasize the savings available through their membership program.

Organizing and Storing Coupons

As great as they are, coupons can quickly pile up and become a mess on your kitchen countertop or inside that already jam-packed junk drawer. Between coupons from Bed Bath & Beyond, the pizza shop and your grocery store, it's easy to lose them and miss out on savings, which is why a good system is important. Creating a neat organizational system will not only make it easier to find them when needed, but you'll also be more likely to use them (and therefore save money!) because they'll be easily accessible. Here are our tips for organizing coupons at home and on the go.

Organizing Coupons at Home

Binder: if you tend to have a large number of coupons, use a binder with clear plastic sleeves to hold them. Go through the coupons and divide them into categories — groceries, restaurants, home decor stores, and so on — and use one plastic sleeve per category. Label the sleeves so that you can quickly access the coupons that you need.

Box: another way to organize lots of coupons is using a square or rectangle shaped box or wicker basket. Create tabs for each coupon category and place them in the box, then organize your coupons behind each tab. This way they'll be visible and easily accessible for anyone in your household to use.

Envelopes: yet another good organizational and storage method is taking same sized envelopes, labeling each with a coupon category and placing the coupons inside the envelopes. Use a basket or bin to corral the envelopes in one place. This method doubles as an on the go method as well — if you are heading to the grocery store, simply grab the envelope that holds all your grocery coupons and you're all set!

Organizing Coupons On The Go

Store-bought coupon organizer: if you are a dedicated coupon user, consider purchasing a coupon organizer. They look like a large sized wallet and have multiple compartments for different coupon categories.

Envelopes: use the envelope method mentioned above and take whatever category envelope you need shopping, then simply put the envelope back in the bin or basket where it belongs.

Plastic pouch: grab the coupons that you need and place them inside a zippered plastic pouch. This way they'll be protected from any accidental spills and won't get lost on the bottom of your bag.
