Definition: An apartment where the rooms connect to one another in a line, and the entrances are at opposite ends of each room, like cars on a train.
Also Known As: railroad flat
Examples: My room is at the end of our railroad apartment, so I must walk through our kitchen and my roommate's room to get to it.
