The Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO), part of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), administers federal laws and establishes national policies to ensure fair housing across the United States.

FHEO is organized into ten regions. Each FHEO regional office is responsible for enforce the Fair Housing Act and related laws; conducting training, outreach, and compliance monitoring; and working with state and local agencies to administer fair housing programs within its geographic jurisdiction.
