If you have Microsoft Word or Excel installed legally on your computer, Microsoft offers free templates from its website to help you with your household budget.
Just visit the Microsoft Office template page and click "Budgets" under "Browse Templates." Because budgets involve many rows and columns, most of the budget templates are written as Excel spreadsheets. If you only own Word or just prefer the Word format, you should find a few suitable templates.
Whichever format you use, look for templates that have "household," "personal," or "family" in the title. Download a few and then decide which one is best for you. They're free!
