Live traps don't kill or harm mice. You use a live trap to capture a mouse in your apartment and then release it outside.
Pros. Live traps are the most humane choice (above snap traps and electronic traps) because they involve capturing a mouse to remove it from your apartment building without causing harm. They're also inexpensive, as are snap traps and glue traps.
Cons. If several hours pass between the time a live trap catches a mouse and the time you discover it, the mouse can die.
