There are three types of vouchers for families with a member who has a disability.
- Mainstream Vouchers For families, whether they're elderly or not, who have a member with disabilities.
- Designated Housing Vouchers For non-elderly families that are eligible for public housing, but who are unable to reside in a particular project because it is only for elderly families.
- Certain Development Vouchers For non-elderly families with a family member who's disabled who cannot receive housing assistance because the development they're interested in is for elderly families only.
