Pervert manager
- I had a little get together a few months ago and we invited people from out complex so we can get to know everyone. The landlords son, which is the manager, came and sexually harassed me. I am now uncomfortable being in the apartment when I am along. The only time I'm on with being home is when someone is there with me. I got an offer on another apartment for cheaper and is much nicer, for no rent because I work for the other landlord, can I break the lease?

Had Enough
- My boyfriend and I want to move down south with his family. His mom is moving down there in a few weeks due to a job offer, we decided to move with her since she already has moving expenses paid for. I asked my landlord if he could make a deal with me but he insists on me paying 2 months rent plus a reletting fee since we are supposed to give a 60 day notice. Is there another way out of this??

What can we do?
- Are lease is up in 3 months but we wanna get out of here now!! People keep trying to break into all the cars around here! We have spent a lot of money on an alarm & camera to watch are car. Now when someone gets broken into people blame us for not catching them...We have had broken windows that have cost $100's of dollars. Yes we have made police reports but they do nothing.. most the time the officer won't even make a report! Plus the neighbor downstairs does nothing but yell!! he has woken everyone up in this house multiple times....did i mention that the managers are 2 girls that think they own everyone and treat everyone like dirt?

Broke Lease
- I was living in an apartment that became to much to pay for because of loss of income. The landlord asked us to leave, but now wants to charge us for breaking the lease to the tune of $45,000 (2 years). She asked us to leave because we could not pay, now you want to try and sue us in court.

Bedbugs
- I have lived in this apartment since feb of this year the thrif day in this apartment I got bitten I let the landlord know and she said she would spray she never did do u ask the pharmscy that these bites was and she said they look like bedbugs I am 44yrs old and never seen a bedbugs before so I sprayed did not have a proble until august the came back I let the manager know they Forster with hotshot bedbug and I had to throw out three of my beds everything was okay top this week they are back and they sprayed again but I have not stayed in my apartment for a week i ask can I break my lease and they said they need a thrity day notice how can I get out of my lease they offer another apartment but I am to scared to move into it what can I do

- MORE THAN A YEAR AGO I MADE A LEASE CONTRACT BETWEEN AVALON APTOS IN SAN MARCOS TEXAS,THIS WAS A FAVOR FOR THIS GIRL I KNEWT HER ON MY HUSBAND WORK,SHE WAS GETTING CRAZY TO FIND A PLACE WHERE TO LIVE SHE DID NOT HAVE PLACE TO STAY, I WAS TRIYING TO HEPL HER CAUSE SHE COULD NOT GET ANY PLACE ON HER OWN CAUSE SHE DOESNT LIVE LEGALLY HERE,LAST MONTH ON SEPTEMBER SHE JUST STOP PAYING RENT SO MANAGER APTOS START CALLIGN ME,ASKING FOR THE RENT FOR SEPTEMBER I TOLD ANA THE SHE NEED IT TO PAY SHE MAY HAVE ANOTHER KIND A TROBLES CAUSE SHE WAS REFUSING TO PAY THE RENT FOR THESE MONTH I WENT THERE AND CHANGE THE LOCK ,SHE COUDNT GET IN TO THE APARTMENT ULTIL SHE PAYS THE RENT AND FIND SOME BODY ELSE WHO WILL SUBLEASE FOR HER CAUSE I COULNT KEEP HELPING HER,AND THAN SHE BREAK IN TO THE APTO THRUE A WINDOW TO GET HER BELONGS AND SHE LEFT WITH AUT NOTICE SHE LEFT ME WITH THE FULL LEASE CONTRACT RESPONSABILIETIES FOR THE REST OF ONE YEAR,BUT THE WAY I NEVER LIVED THERE,IT WAS HER PLACE

- my mother margaret was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on august 6 2011. just today the landlord/office told us that the only way that she can get out of her lease was to pay 1500 dollars. my mom is ona fixed income,theres no way for her to pay that kind of money. what should we do?

Landlord terminated our lease & made new
- My landlord was phoned by myself on discussions of me not knowing if I were to reside at the residence any longer. Iffy on all things and that I hadn't vacated yet. He then went to my place and discussed matters with my ex, told her since our place was vacant, which I hadn't vacated yet that he could have her start a brand new lease and change the locks. I came home to a new lock and had to break in my own place to put my 2yr old to sleep as well as go to sleep myself. Now I have a civil suit and have no idea if what this chump did could even remotely be seen as legal. With no eviction & not having vacated now I cannot return home because of this. How ridiculous and what a nightmare. What should I do besides take him to civil court?

landlord breaks lease
- my landord evicted me on the 2nd of the month when my lease clearly states I have till the 5th to pay rent. He filed it in court and the court dismissed. My question is he in breech of are lease? Since I was evicted I found another place to live I am in ohio. Can he sue me for the lease if he refiles for eviction?

Bad Business from Realtor
- My sister has been looking to rent a house in Poplar Grove Il, she has just moved from NY for her husbands new job. She did not have much time to find a house she has found a couple of houses and was hoping that one would work out. They however did not work out, and her realtor asked Chuck R if he had any rental property for rent and he said NO he does not. Well my sister has found a rental property where our mother lives and noticed that it was from the guy who said that he had no property for rent. She decided to see the house without her realtor help because she thought that her realtor was just not finding a place for her. She then had seen the property and thought that this rental price right for them which was $1500 a month. When she went for the signing the realtor told her that is was $1650 and not $1500 my sister was shocked and did not know what to do. He said that she needed to make a decision now or loose the house so she signed. Now she wants out

I am living in hell
- I am a exchange student, so I look for a place to live in California, then I foun A co-op and the web side look si nice, and have all the utilities cover and a meal plan for a reasonable price. Then a sign the lease while I was still in my home country becuase I wanted to guarantee a room. Then when I move to the coop I found this terrible place... it did not look like in the web site, they are not serving food( mela plan) and one resindent try to stab other resident... so I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE, so with all that may I break the lease?

- I rented an apt from 03/01/07-03/01/08. When the lease was up I decided the apt was to small and not worth it. I spoke to the landlord when he sent the renewal lease form to sign, I explained to him that I will be moving soon and I'm willing to pay the new rent amount until I leave. Now 2011, I'm recieving a letterin the mail from a law office that I need to go to courts and fill out a complaint for a breach of contract. I have the org rental agreement and the org unsigned renewal lease. Do I have a chance to fight this in court ? Please hellllp me.
